Job Brief:

We are searching for an experienced, dynamic Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to be responsible for designing and executing test plans in order to improve the usability of our products. The QA Tester will work with the development team to troubleshoot, debug code, and correct errors or any issues with software code.

As a successful QA Tester, you should have a strong knowledge of software code and testing methodologies and be a team player.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for creating test cases for automated tests and manuals.
  2. Work with the project manager, developers, and account managers in order to understand business requirements and perform test effort estimation.
  3. Review requirements, technical design documents, and specifications to provide meaningful feedback.
  4. Create comprehensive, well-structured, and detailed test plans and test cases.
  5. Implement test procedures and oversee the QA process.
  6. Troubleshoot quality issues and modify test procedures.
  7. Work closely and take direction from other QAs.
  8. Identify test data requirements and generate required test data.
  9. Execute Software Functional, Regression, and Smoke testing.
  10. Responsible for prioritizing test cases considering account business priorities & risk analysis.
  11. Responsible for analyzing test results and providing reports to the development team.
  12. Participate in project release efforts varying in scope from small to large.
  13. Responsible for ensuring a successful deployment of apps/games into the market.
  14. Stay current with the latest testing strategies and tools.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in CS, Information Technology, or relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of QA testing experience.


Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of test management software and programming languages.
  • A passion for Quality Assurance discipline.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, procedures, and methods, including but not limited to Scrum, MS Office programs, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, etc.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be an "out of the box" thinker.
  • Good team working and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment.
