👨🏻‍💻 Web Application Developer

Job Brief:

We are looking for an experienced, skilled Web Applications Developer to design, develop, test, debug, implement, and maintain web-based applications using Java, Web Services, and assorted programming languages as needed. The Web Application Developer will build and maintain numerous sites, program custom modules, implement layouts, and work closely with various units and centers to implement and support enterprise branding and communications initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and support Drupal-based websites and other duties as assigned.
2. Implement responsive front-end layouts and UI with modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript techniques.
3. Coordinate with a diverse group of colleagues in order to find solutions that solve complex problems with a focus on creativity, functionality, usability, and attention to detail.
4. Remain abreast of technology directions, initiatives, and trends within the scope of expertise.
5. Test functionality to ensure objectives are achieved while integrating user-developed content to identify and troubleshoot errors or problems with web-based applications.
6. Plan, track projects, and communicate with clients from start to end.
7. Explain and translate complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related.

· Minimum TWO years of experience in web and database, including creating and updating table structures and views as well as CSS development.

Requirements:

• Drupal knowledge, including Drupal 8/9, Views, Webform, Entity, and templates.
• Experience with CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, and versioning workflow tools, such as Git.
• Knowledge of back-end development with programs such as PHP, as well as basic knowledge of SQL Queries and environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment with diverse tasks.
• Experience in using customer service skills.
• Experience with UI/UX design and best practices.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with current front-end development tools such as React, Angular, or other modern JavaScript libraries.
• Experience with security protocols and issues (e.g., SSL, cross-site scripting, SQL injection).
• Evidence of having a background in CMS/Drupal module development.
• Knowledge of WordPress.
• Ability to troubleshoot various technical problems.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
